General

Sanifit
- AKU® Sanifit is a special lining material with high-wicking properties, thanks to its polypropylene fibre contruction. It keeps feet at a balanced temperature and prevents the formation of odours and mycosis.
Harmonic Lasting
- Over time, AKU® has developed its own anatomical lasts, which are the result of years of testing and investigation into the bio-kinesiology of the foot. Harmonic Lasting uses a lower-volume approach to the forefoot, arch and heel. The Harmonic Lasting geometry provides a close and secure fit on traverses, ascents and descents. Sock slippage and blisters are reduced and held in check.
Air 8000® Textile System
- The Air 8000® textile package has the ability to ventilate the ambient area around the foot eleven times more effectively than all the other commonly used textile options on the market. AKU® is the only brand with this advantage. AKU® has perfected the technique of allowing the upper of the boot to breathe while still supporting the foot.
