but also well ventilated without the danger
of becoming cold. The AirConditioning Channel
is the central component of the heat and moisture
regulation system. Every movement of the foot
and the pumping action of the arch of the foot
transfers the hot, moist air to the AirConditioning
Channel and out of the boot. The easing off
of pressure draws a flow of “fresh” air into
the shoe. The circulating fresh air ensures
that the feet stay comfortably dry and the temperature
around them pleasantly constant. Because when
you’re skiing only dry feet are capable of withstanding
impacts, and the skin is better able to resist
abrasions and pressure sores.
